Join del Sol Rotarians to volunteer at the opening session of the 51st Balloon Fiesta by working in the South Merchandise tent. The Mission of Bridges for Victims of Violent Death is to help the survivors and co-victims of homicide deal with the aftermath of a violent death. They bridge the gaps in the availability of information and resources for victims by providing stepping stones for victims to move from a place of vulnerability to a place of positive resolution

Talking Talons Youth Leadership is one of our Don Chalmers grant recipients.  Interim Director John Ross will share about the program and it's progress this year. John has served in the nonprofit sector since 1976. He has seen the industry from many angles: he has worked with United Way, served in a wide range of agency leadership positions and chaired and/or participated in numerous community collaborations. However, being a part of Talking Talons Youth Leadership with its focus on supporting and mentoring young people who will be our Climate Change Leaders is the highlight of John’s career. John and his wife Janie love to travel, hug on their five grandchildren, hike and hang out in their garden.
