On September 20 at the Regular Thursday Meeting, Bob Reid, CEO of the Maddox Corporation, the largest Not For Profit in New Mexico was the Guest Speaker on the Subject "Empowering Women in Bolivia". This is a joint project of the Hobbs and Lovington Rotary Clubs which is the subject of a Global grant and supported by other Clubs in District 5520. It was a very moving speech about the horrible plight of women living in Extreme Poverty and being forced to work in the mines of Bolivia.
