THIS WEEK IN ROTARY

On Tuesday, March 1, at 5:30pm at Nexus Brewery and on ZOOM the Satellite Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians
heard a vocational presentation by Dick Wilkinson. Last October, Dick was invited to discuss cyber strategy in government operations with the leadership of various Ukrainian agencies. It was a very timely presentation considering the Invasion of Ukraine.
On March 3 at the Thursday Morning Meeting for all Del Sol Rotarians, President Elect Jeff Weinrach was the speaker on the subject of the recent club membership survey.

One of the most significant aspects of the survey is that Local Service Projects are the most important thing to Club Members. 62.2% of the responders to the survey said Club Membership met their expectations
It was a very informative survey and at a future date Jeff will present the Strategic Plan.
Greg Hallstrom informed the membership about other Ramps projects being done by other Rotary Clubs especially the El Paso, Texas Rotary Club which has contributed $15000 to the Texas Ramps poject.
Christine Glidden announced that she will be leaving for Nepal for two months as part of the Women 2 Be/ Rotary project for young women in Nepal. Go Christine! We are so proud of you!.
Charity Ball Chair Tony asked Club Members to get the names and information on their guests sent in for table registration as soon as possible. Also we need Auction Items . Nicosha Schedlbauer is Auction Chair.
President Brad Ekhoff announced that there will not be a Morning Meeting on April 7 due to the District Conference. He urged all members to attend the District Conference Luncheon in lieu of our meeting.
On March 8 at 5:00PM at US Eagle Federal Credit Union there will be a Rotary Del Sol Foundation Meeting. All members are invited to attend but this is especially important for Red Badge Members as attendance at a Foundation Board Meeting is one of the requirements for the Blue Badge.
On March 10 at 7:00AM at Jimmy's Cafe and on ZOOM the Morning Meeting for all Del Sol Rotarians will feature Pete Dinelli with APD/Dept. of Justice.
Let's all keep the brave people of the Ukraine in our thoughts. UNICEF is taking donations for the refugees at unicefusa.org. They need all the help we can give them.
