This week in Rotary
Rotary Del Sol's latest fundraiser is a custom made face mask produced by Ron Hensley's  son and donated for a Club Fund Raiser.  Price is $10 for a single mask and $25.00 for three masks.  Please contact Ron to make an order and pay with Venmo to the Club and John Gordon will keep track of the funds.  This is a great opportunity to turn the Covid-19 Pandemic into a positive and advertise Del Sol every time you wear a mask.

Kate Barone-Dimock speaking at the October 29 morning meeting.

At the October 29, 2020 Morning Meeting for All Rotarians the speakers were Kate Barone Dimock and Andrea Hanson from Dekker/Perich/Sabitini Architects.  Shirley Anderson introduced the speakers.  They spoke on strategy and communication for companies returning from Covid.  The title of their talk was "Right Things In and Right Things Out"and the emphasis was on the opportunity to create a work place with better and healthier buildings. They explained that they are working on "best practices" to make "Healthy Buildings" engineered to making people safe.  While recognizing that Post-Covid 25-30% of people will be working from home,  they explained that many people cannot do that and that some people do not want to do that.  Thus making healthy work places even though they may be smaller is very important.

One interesting part of their presentation was that different generations have different attitudes and philosophy about work which may effect the needs that they have in the work place.  It was a very interesting and timely presentation
