At this week’s meeting, we welcomed Tiffanie Owen, Public Information Officer for the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NMSBVI).
Tiffanie shared the long and inspiring history of NMSBVI, which dates back to the time of Billy the Kid. The school provides educational and residential services for visually impaired children across New Mexico, supporting them with technology, adaptive learning tools, and personal development.
Our club is proud to support their upcoming Night Golf Tournament on September 28, which helps raise funds for the school’s vital programs.
Major Donor Recognition
Congratulations to Tony Pino who was recognized as a Rotary International Major Donor ($10,000+). Tony encouraged all of use to sign up for Rotary Direct so that over time we can also achieve major donor status. Congratulations Tony!
