Our annual Rice and Beans drive goes to the end of May. Our goal is $2,000; we are currently at $1,500.

We have two club members who have committed to be RYLA counselors and one who will be a guest speaker.
Greg mentioned the possibility of our club linking up with one of the 22 Rotary clubs in the Ukraine.
May was Davis Riordan's Rotary Anniversary month. Congrats to Davis.
The NM Ramps project is a spin-off of the Texas Ramp project. To date, Texas has built 30,00 ramps (about 60 a week).
Mike mentioned Ameritas status. If your age plus years in Rotary equals or exceeds 85, you are eligible for Ameritas status. This means your dues would reduce from $165 to $65. If interested, contact Mike.
Our speaker couldn't make it so Meredith asked each table to identify fun things we do, potential speakers, potential community service and fundraising ideas. Fun thing ideas were Paint for Polio, Mystery trips, escape rooms, dinner detective, freeloaders, zoo concerts, paint parties, bowling and baseball games, and meet and greets. Potential speaker ideas were the Kirtland Base Commander, UNM Athletic Director, Archbishop Wester, Coaches at all levels, someone from the VLA, Sandia Labs, Chamber of Commeraces, Bagel Lady, Weck's new director, and Marilyn Beck. Community services ideas were continue Ronald McDonald House guest chef program, Road Runner Food Bank, projects with non-Rotary clubs and median cleanups, Potential fundraisers were continuing the Balloon Festival Merchandise Tent, casino night, golf tournaments, raffles, and pickle ball tournaments
