Once again our very own club band - the Rotary Wranglers played at the meeting and wished everyone a very Merry Christmas! We also had a magical visit from Santa who shared his story and a special Christmas tune.
There is a severe food crisis in New Mexico this year. We are collecting beans and rice (or donations) to benefit the Roadrunner Food Bank through the end of the month. We are about halfway to our goal of collecting $3000 to feed the hungry this winter. Contact Kit Turpin to donate.
If you aren't seeing videos from our amazing Wranglers - click the link at the top of the page to view the newsletter online.
Rotary Youth Exchange Host Families Needed
Rotary Youth Exchange promotes world peace by sending students to live in other countries. Our club is possibly sponsoring an outbound student in 2024. To do that, we need families to host a student from another country for 3 months. They don't need to be Rotarians - and don't necessarily need to have kids at home. You just need an extra bedroom and a desire to learn about another culture and make a lifelong friend.
Contact Jennifer Huffaker if you can help.
RYLA is Recruiting...
Jennifer also has brand new RYLA brochures with a QR code. Know of a Junior in high school who could benefit from some amazing leadership training - get a brochure and let Jennifer know!
