This week we heard from Kevin Dunning the Acting Principal at Immanuel Lutheran School in downtown Albuquerque. Kevin was raised in the Lutheran school system and has been principal of schools all over the country (and the world with a stint in Hong Kong). The school is celebrating it's 100th anniversary this year. At it's peak, they had an enrollment of 200 students - now they are closer to 80.
Kit Turpin shared a story of his daughter's experience as a student there on September 11.
New Generations
The 4 way test essays are in. The contestants will be at our meeting next week to celebrate and we'll get to hear the winning essay read out loud from the student. We also have two students approved and going to RYLA camp this summer. Thanks Jennifer Huffaker for all of your excellent work this year.

Let's eat and earn some money for the club on March 12. Chello Grill will donate 30% of the ticket to anyone who shows this graphic or brings the flyer on that day. The restaurant is open from 11am to 7pm.
Want to eat with other Rotarians. Sign up on the website event page to come at 12:30pm or 6:00pm and we'll save you a seat.
