Last week, we heard from Jim Hering about Pathways Academy, a private school that serves children with special needs in Albuquqerque. Jim shared the stories of several students where Pathways was the option of last resort for parents. The student came to school, received individualized education and flourished. Jim also talked about the challenges of funding a private school and helping as many students and families as possible.

Backpack Drive
Bring your new backpacks to donate to the Jump in @ School bash which provides school supplies and backpacks for children. The founder, Cilena Trujillo will be speaking at our meeting next week and we would like to give her a large backback donation.

As the Founder and President of Jump In2 School Bash, Cilena Trujillo was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Having navigated the foster system herself, Cilena developed a profound empathy for those facing adversity. Cilena established the Jump In2 School Bash to extend that same compassion to hundreds of children simultaneously. Beyond providing immediate assistance, Cilena envisioned the Bash as a platform to unite small businesses and communities in a shared mission of hope.
