Our speaker for this Thursdays Morning Meeting for all Del Sol Rotarian will be Kent Cravens, CEO of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors. Kent will discuss what it is that GAAR does and how it relates to consumers and Real Estate transactions. He will conclude with an update on the current Real Estate market and forces that affect home sales. This should be very interesting especially for those of us buying or selling homes. On Monday, October 5 at 530 PM there will be a Satellite Meeting for all Del Sol Rotarians. Satellite Co-Chair Michael Wood will present a program featuring the East Mountain Interact Club which Del Sol sponsors. Michael is the Faculty Advisor for the East Mountain Interact Club. Club members will discuss their service activities as well as their contacts with an Interact Club in Guatamala. Jeff Weinrach has sent a ZOOM link to all Del Sol Rotarians.
On Monday September 21 the Satellite Meeting for all Del Sol Rotarians featured Sheena Fergusson on the timely topic of "Front Line in the Covid-19 Pandemic". This was a very timely presentation for all of us as we deal with our businesses, relationships and activities in the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Service Activities continuing for Del Sol Rotarians are the Navajo Hope Project and the Health Care Heroes project. In Christine Glidden's absence this week, Aly Bitsui is coordinating packing of food and supplies for the Navajo Hope project. Remember that today at 4:00p.m. is the packing event instead of yesterday. Christine and Aly can use more volunteers for future deliveries. Members wishing to volunteer can do so on the event calendar in Club Runner.
Members wishing to contribute to expenses or the Health Care Heroes project can use their Venmo account to get funds to Treasurer John Gordon. Also drivers are still needed. Electronic registration is enabled for this event and members can volunteer by clicking on the event in the event calendar or contacting service chair Chris Van Dyck.
