Speaker: Jim Hering, Principal, Pathways Academy Private K-12 school for special needs students. Founded in 2003 by Keren Mitchel Frank. Located at University and Copper on the lower level of the Central Methodist Church. 10K Chalmers grant recipient. Money went for financial aid to 10 students. 50% of families need financial aid. Their challenge is fundraising. 22 students; capped at 24. Piloted Active Daily Learning program. Partnership with Prism Autism Services. 80% of students on autism spectrum.
