On February 1 at the Satellite Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians, Katherine Buggenhagen,Planned Giving Officer, Rotary Foundation was the speaker  about Planned Giving to the Foundation as part of Estate Planning. 

 

On Thursday at the Morning Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians, Helen Adkins from the Harwood Arts Center who is the Director of Opportunity and Lead Artist was the featured speaker.  The Harwood Arts Center is a part of Escuela Del Sol Montessori School.

 

Helen discussed the sculptures that apprentices from the Art Center are building in Mesa Verde Park. She described the various sculptures and their theme during her presentation and provided illustrations of the sculptures.

This coming Wednesday and Thursday Evening at 6:00PM incoming President Jeff Weinrach will host Strategic Planning Meetings via ZOOM for present Board Members and next years Board Members.  Jeff sent out a ZOOM link and would welcome all Del Sol Rotarians.

 

Last Thursday at 2:00PM Tony Pino hosted a Joint Charity Ball Planning Meeting with the members of the Committee from the Downtown Club.  Tony emphasized sponsorships and the need for Rotarians to reserve their tables.  Meredith Eisenberg is adding a link to the Rotary Charity Ball Web Site to reserve and pay for tables.  We will need the names and emails of all guests.

 

Sponsorship Chair Willie Edwards and Auction Item Chair Nicosha Schedlbauer still need help with sponsorships and Auction items.  

 

The Ramps project that had been scheduled for last weekend had to be postponed due to the winter storm.

 

This Thursday's Morning Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians will feature Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller discussing important matters for the City of Albuquerque.  This is a great opportunity for Del Sol Rotarians to ask questions of Mayor Keller and become more informed on City Government.  Let's all turnout for this important presentation.   Since the Mayor may have to leave a little early, it is important for all of us to be there by 6:45 AM get our breakfast orders in and be prepared to start the Mayors speech a little early.
