Help Needed

Rotarian help needed for the following:

* Silent Auction items for Night Golf - Tony is looking for silent auction items for the NMSBVI fundraiser coming up on September 28. We are also looking for volunteers for the day of the event.  Contact Tony for more info.

Balloon Fiesta Clean Up Volunteers Go to Balloon Fiesta park on Saturday September 27 to help clean up.  When you register tell them you are helping for Gingerbread Southwest.

* Balloon Fiesta Volunteers
Rotary del Sol will again provide volunteers for the Fiesta Merchandise North tent at one Mass Ascension (morning session, 10/4) and one Balloon Glow (evening session, 10/10). This will be the 7th year that the Club has done this activity. This is a great fundraising opportunity for the Club that earns us $600 per shift.

Like previous years, RDS has been given excellent, preferential volunteer shifts.  This includes shifts during the morning Mass Ascension on the first day of Fiesta (Saturday, October 4, 4:30-11:30 am) and the popular Friday night Balloon Glow (Friday, October 10, 3:30-9:30 PM).  The Fiesta knows that RDS brings experienced volunteers and they are grateful for our assistance.

Please go the RDS website right away, log in, and register for a shift(s).  (www.rotarydelsol.org).  I have set up 2 separate events.  Register for one or both!

* Toys - Year of Cheer is a district wide project collecting toys for UNM Children's Hospital all year round. Our first collection will end on 9/30.  Please bring a toy to a September meeting. Contact Cynde Tagg for more info.

The dates for the Fair are October 10-11 at the DoubleTree Hotel El Paso Downtown. Located at 600 N. El Paso St. El Paso, Texas (915) 532- 8733. Set up for projects at 10 am.

Our room rate is $139.00.

Registration for the project fair is $125 and includes our International Fiesta Dinner, entertainment and full “Project Fair” participation.
