This week, Dr. Shelly Gruenig updated us on R4 Creating's mission to help expose New Mexico kids to STEM through Robotics and other opportunities. 

She shared the ups and downs of competing in various robotic competitions with the students in the programs and shared some amazing success stories.

She also announced that R4 Creating is going to be the primary beneficiary of the Montezuma Ball in November.  She invited club members to volunteer for the ball, buy tables and to come visit and learn more about her organization.

Earlier this month, the board voted to make Lance Ellison an emeritus member in recognition of all that he has done for Rotary over the decades he as been a member.

Want to be part of the team that helps our club raise money to make an even larger impact?

Consider volunteering as our new fundraising chair (or committee member).  We need to raise money to pay for things our club wants to do... like sponsoring an exchange student, contributing to Rotary grants, etc.
