Helping Our UNM Student Athletes (and Students)
A "winning" athletic team can bring millions of dollars to school coffers. Traditionally, UNM hasn't been able to attract the kind of talent needed to create championship teams. The NCAAs new rule that allows students to enter into "name, image and likeness" contracts has allowed UNM to be more competitive because of the 505 Sports Venture Foundation founded by Kurt Roth.
Kurt attended UNM in the Seventies and moved back to New Mexico after a legal career in New York. He showed us how 505 Sports Ventures helps find lucrative deals for students and attracts better players to UNM.
