This Week In Rotary
UPDATE CENTRAL

  • Last week, we heard from Jeff Weinrach, Bruce Bortner, Dave Ring & James Morrison about their experiences and takeaways from the Rotary International Convention in Atlanta this year.
  • This week we'll hear from Albuquerque Business First's publisher, Candace Beeke!
  • Don't forget! This week's Satellite Meeting is on Monday, July 31 at 5:30pm at Rio Bravo Brewing. We'll hear from Toya Kaplan at Freedom House.
  • We're also holding a club meeting to discuss this year's Governor's Ball with a prospective event planner. If you're interested in joining, the meeting will be held at Rio Bravo Brewing at 3pm on Monday, July 31. And, if you stop by, stay and join us for our Satellite Meeting!
  • Rooms at The Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe are filling up fast for the Rotary District Conference next year! Half of our room block is already booked, so be sure to make your reservation by calling 505-988-4455. Ask for the special 'Rotary Rate' of $129 per night. As soon as the conference schedule and registration mechanisms are online and ready to go, you'll be the first to know!
  • Rio Grande Academy is back and will be on September, 23 at 7:30am. This is a great opportunity for both new & established members to learn more about Rotary, meet new people, and hear new ideas! You can sign up here!
  • Don't forget that the New Mexico Dental Association Foundation's Mission of Mercy is coming up and there's still room for volunteers. The event will take place at the Albuquerque Convention Center on Friday, September 22 & Saturday, September 23, 2017. There will be two (2) six-eight hour shifts per clinic days (Friday and Saturday). For more information and to sign up, please click here.
  • Don't forget to sign up for this year's Bi-District 5520/4110 Committee Event will be held August 11 & 12 at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces. Bi-District will convene Friday, August 12 in the afternoon, culminating with a cash-bar social hour at 6pm, and dinner at 7pm. For more information & to register, click here!
  • And, finally, don't forget - there's still time to sign up for the Farmers vs Ranchers Golf Tournament. If we'd like to make this a fun fall social for our members and in support of the Moriarty Club, let's talk about teams! This event is a fundraiser for the Moriarty Club and all net proceeds will go toward their local projects. The event will take place on September 9 at King Ranch and registration can be completed by clicking here. Fees are $30 per person, or we can put together club teams of 4 players, at $125 per person! Fees include a barbecue lunch and live music - and you get to socialize with Rotarians from the ABQ, Rio Rancho, and Moriarty clubs!

Lets have a great week in Rotary!
