We're still pushing!! : We're still in the midst of Every Rotarian, Every Year - the program that encourages all Rotarians - every single one of us - to contribute to the Rotary Foundation, annually. Last year, our club had the highest per capita giving rate in District 5520. One of President Michael's goals for this year is to have 100% participation in Rotary Foundation giving. An easy way to give is to go to Rotary.org. For every $10 contributed, you're entitled to one ticket in the Rotary Raffle (Cruise or Cash!!), AND contributions to the Rotary Foundation & RotaryDel Sol Foundation are tax deductible! Let's all make an effort to be 100%! We can do this.
Last week, we heard from Jim Harvey, Executive Director for the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico. Many thanks to Jim for the informative and important presentation, and for the work that you and your organization does for our communities.
This week, rather than our usual speaker program, we'll be holding a Club Assembly focused explicitly on this year's Governors Ball! We'll be going over details, auction status and goals, sponsorship status and goals, and everything in between! Be sure to join us for this very important and exciting program!
Remember that our next Satellite Meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 15th, 2018 at Rio Bravo Brewing Co, as usual. So, come from fellowship, service, and delicious beers (if that's your fancy)!
As we've done over the past several years, our Club has agreed to fill a table at the Del Norte Club Gala and they, in turn, will fill a table at our Governors Charity Ball. The Del Norte Gala will take place on the evening of February 24, 2018 at the Isleta Resort & Casino. Tickets are $150 each.
