- Our next Meet/Greet social will be on 9/17 at the Element Albuquerque Uptown’s (Westin) Rooftop bar called Volare.

- Looking for another driver for Meals on Wheels. Deliver on Tuesdays between 1030-1200 about every six weeks. Need six drivers.

- Jeff W. – The International Project Fair went well. Pledge $1,000 each for the two projects the club agreed to fund (Corazon de Ninos and Rotary Compassion Project for End-Stage Renal Disease Patients.)
- Bruce S. – The state fair is looking for volunteers for Rotary Day at the Fair on 9/10. Bruce will send around a sign-up sheet.

R4 Creating is New Mexico’s premiere Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Career Training Center for all ages. They have been serving the future scientist, engineers and innovator of New Mexico since 2005. Their vision is to cultivate Learners into Leaders by empowering youth through purposeful learning, leadership development, and career readiness in STEM fields, fostering innovation, equity and future-ready skills. What we do: Build career and leadership skills. Professional educator development. Community outreach. Workforce development. Custom 3-D printing – precision prints and custom solutions.
R4 Creating offers: STEM Leadership programs – robotics, student-led 3-D printing lab and internships and volunteer opportunities. STEM Resources – 3-D printing lab, maker lab and Cal Ripken Sr. foundation STEM center. STEM Training – educator and professional development, educator support in robotics and 3-D printing, and STEM camps and workshops for all ages. STEM programs – demonstrations and outreach, birthday parties and field trips, VEX IQ robotics state competition and Girls in Tech.
