  • Sunny Kellerman – Vice District Governor and Speaker.
    • She said visiting our club is like coming home to family.
    • She mentioned that many club members held district positions or have been involved with district over the years.
    • She congratulated Dave Simon for his filling in for John Heck.
    • She said Jeff W. was a pioneer in that he was working full time and appointed governor representatives to visit clubs.

    • She shared a story of the high ropes challenge where students faced fear, took brave steps, and discovered the power of support from friends and allies.  They discovered that others believe in you even when you don’t believe in yourself.
    • In life you can either have fear or you can let fear have you.

      • Create lasting impact through service, intentions, and consistency.
      • Courage matters. Don’t let fear keep you from acting.
      • Support and encouragement help people go beyond what they think they can do.
      • Innovation begins by focusing on the outcome, then finding new ways to get there.
      • Fellowship and belonging keep clubs strong and help members grow.
